Meet the Team

Before settling in Dumbarton Ghyll worked in a variety of hospital surgical units and specialist centres after qualifying from Edinburgh Dental School in 1991 and achieving the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1995. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in cosmetics, dentures and anti-snoring appliances (the mandibular advancement splint). 

Ghyll has also qualified as and Enhanced Domiciliary Practitioner and worked as a post graduate trainer in General Dental Practice for several years. He was President of the Glasgow Odontological Society and Captain of the Glasgow Dental Hospital golf team. He also volunteered as a dentist treating athletes at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014 and worked in the medical team covering dental trauma for Glasgow Warriors Rugby. Since taking ownership in 2006, he has thoroughly enjoyed transforming the practice and watching it evolve to give the standard of care it offers patients today. He is delighted to be handing the reigns over to Rebecca and has full confidence that she will continue to build on this and develop the practice over the years to come.  Outside of work Ghyll is always busy with his wife, 4 sons and a dog, fitness, swimming judging at regional and national competitions, amateur theatre, good food and good wine!

Alison graduated from Glasgow Dental Hospital & School in 2004. She has gained vast experience working in General Dental Practice in the Glasgow area since then combining this with intense post graduate training. Since joining Levengrove Dental Care in 2008 she has thrived and thoroughly enjoyed working in such a motivating and friendly practice. Out with work she is a devoted mum to her young family and loves nothing better than creating adventures with them whether in the kitchen, on days out or travelling abroad. Alison barely needs to sniff the Prosecco to get the party started on our work nights out!

Patrick is a returning member of the dental team, having previously worked at the practice in 2010 - 2012 when he left for the sunny shores of Australia where he experienced a wide variety of working environments, from rural community dentist, oral surgery in hospital and work in private practice. Since returning to the UK, Patrick had been working in Glasgow city centre until he saw the light and returned back to Levengrove and we're certainly delighted to have him back!

Patrick graduated from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 2010. He has since qualified in intravenous sedation and has become an Invisalign Practitioner. He has also developed a keen interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery. Out with dentistry, Patrick is a enthusiastic sports fan, following Partick Thistle all over the country at weekends, and still enjoys travelling whenever possible.

Grace graduated from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 2010. She went on to complete her MFDS qualification in 2012. Since then she worked in general practice and enjoys performing a variety of treatments. In 2016/17 become a post graduate trainer in general practice guiding newly qualified dentists into the profession. She completed the post graduate diploma in Conscious Sedation at the University of Newcastle to aid the management of anxious patients. Outside of work Grace enjoys travelling, eating out in new places and keeping fit at the gym and running.

Millie graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2022 with Honours. She likes all aspects of general dentistry and joined Levengrove with fabulous references from both her undergraduate and postgraduate training. She now enjoys working with the friendly team at Levengrove to help provide the best possible care for her patients. Outside of work Millie enjoys travelling, baking and keeping fit, in particular playing hockey, where she represents Scotland on a regular basis. She played in the European Championships in 2023 and the highlight must be playing in the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2018. 

Hannah graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2023. She has been working in Grangemouth since and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She particularly enjoys helping anxious patients feel at ease, and trying to make dental visits a positive experience. Outside of work Hannah enjoys exercising, travelling to new places and spending time with her nephews.

Charlotte has been enjoying working with the wonderful team here at Levengrove for a number of years now on and off. She first joined the practice in 2016 as maternity cover and we were delighted when she could and rejoin permanently in 2019.She qualified in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) in Oral Health Sciences from the University of Edinburgh as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist.

After qualifying, she has gained experience doing both Hygiene and Therapy work, in practices throughout Glasgow including further training in aesthetic composite restorations and facial aesthetics.  In recent years she has chosen to focus on her role in dental hygiene, where she enjoys empowering and encouraging patients to get the best from their oral hygiene routine.

Outside of the practice she enjoys family life and like to be creative with any leftover spare time being consumed by shouting and cleaning up after small children. That done, she will enjoy a glass of wine (not on a work night)!

Kristina graduated in 2024 with a BSc in Oral Health Science from Glasgow Caledonian University. She brings extensive experience in the field of dentistry, having worked as both a Dental Technician and a Dental Nurse before achieving her goal of becoming a Dental Therapist. This diverse background has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of most aspects of general dentistry.

Throughout her time at university, Kristina gained valuable experience working in various health centres across Glasgow, where she played a key role in improving patients' oral health. She is dedicated to motivating patients to achieve optimal oral health and continually enhances her skills through ongoing education and experience.

Outside of her professional life, Kristina loves exploring new cafes and indulging in a coffee and cake (always in moderation, of course). She’s also a fantastic source for great cafe recommendations!
